0Coding For Everyone
Want some kid friendly ways to learn code?
Coding can look daunting to even the most seasoned pro, but that doesn’t mean it is! We’ve compiled a bunch of different great ways to get started coding and before you know it, you’ll be coding your own websites and programs!
A great place to start is Scratch a super fun software program from MIT which lets you create and control your own characters by typing in commands. Using the program you can create your own games or stories and share them with a big community of kid programmers from around the Globe!
Another way to get programming is Light-bot an app for your smartphone! It looks just like a puzzle game, but it teaches you the basics of programming. And bonus, it’s made by two Canadians.
And then, when you’re ready to find a whole new and exciting bunch of code to learn, try Codecademy which teaches you everything from Website creating basics to codes named Python and Ruby that help you create complicated apps like you play every day.
Are you ready to get coding? Tell us in the comments about what your big coding project could be.
