Hitting the Wall on a Night Shoot: A Ruby Skye P.I. Extra
The cast of Ruby Skye P.I. talks about working through all-night shoots!
Working on the set of a film (or a web series, in the case of Ruby Skye P.I.) isn’t always easy – especially when you’re doing a story that takes place almost all at night! And the cast of The Haunted Library found that out the hard way: by doing it firsthand, from 5:30PM to 6:00AM every night.
In this behind-the-scenes video, actors Madison Cheeatow, Samantha Wan and Scott Beaudin all talk about the difficulties of working through the night. “At least during these late hours,” says Beaudin during one of these late-night shoots, “when our bodies aren’t used to staying up until three in the morning, having to have the energy to be in a scene and be activated and listening to everyone; that’s one of the challenges.”
Because, don’t forget: it’s not just staying up all night to have fun like you might do at home – there’s still work to be done!
So check out the video and see what the actors had to see about “hitting the wall”, and how they get over it.
And don’t forget, we have new behind-the-scenes footage coming for you every Wednesday. Each week, we’ll bring you make-up tutorials, rare footage, bloopers, interviews and a whole bunch more. So be sure to tune into RubySkyePI.com and our YouTube channel for the latest videos!
