0Ruby Skye P.I. Nominated For Youth Media Alliance Parents’ Award!
Ruby Skye P.I. is the only web series to be nominated for the brand-new Youth Media Alliance Parents’ award!
Awards news just keeps rolling in for The Haunted Library!
Everybody here at Ruby Skye P.I. loves the Youth Media Alliance (YMA) – they’ve been awfully good to us in the past! Just a couple of weeks ago, we found out that The Haunted Library was nominated for Best Original Digital Content alongside a bunch of other great digital content in their Awards of Excellence. It’s a category that The Spam Scam also won back in 2011, something we’re hoping to repeat this year!
Now, we’ve also gotten the news that the second season of Ruby Skye P.I. has been nominated for the brand-new Youth Media Alliance Parents’ Award. And this nomination isn’t just from everybody over at the YMA. It’s also thanks to every single one of you who went to the site and voted. Over a thousand parents voted, and you all managed to get us into the top five nominations!
So from everybody here at Ruby Skye P.I., we’d like to give a great, big THANK YOU to everybody who voted.
In this category, we’re up against CBC’s Cross Country Fun Hunt, Much Music’s Degrassi, TVO’s Giver and TVOKids’ Mark’s Moments, which are all really awesome shows. But you’ll notice something in that list: Ruby Skye P.I. is the only web series to be nominated. That’s amazing!
The YMA Awards take place on Tuesday, May 28 at the CBC’s Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto. The amazing and hilarious Seán Cullen will be hosting, so it should definitely be a fun night. Fingers crossed that Ruby and her friends can bring home a couple wins!
