Meet the younger (and smarter, according to Ms. Springer) Skye sister!
It’s not easy being the younger sister of a teenage detective – just ask Hailey Skye. Your fundraisers get ruined, you get dragged into terrifying situations and sometimes you even spend the night in the slammer. It’s a love / hate relationship, that’s for sure. Mostly hate.
But Hailey Skye always has her sister’s back, even when she doesn’t want to. That’s what sisters are for – even if Ruby herself doesn’t always get the message. You give a little (like hiding in a library overnight) and you get a little (like a tray of brownies).
And Hailey isn’t just smart – she’s a tech and web wizard, a Nerdfighter and a spear-header of all kinds of important social causes, too. Whether she’s campaigning to ban plastic water bottles or raising money for Because I Am A Girl (so that girls all over the world can get education, protection and food), Hailey is leading the fight against social injustice. All while helping her big sister solve a few mysteries along the way!
